5. PSYCHOMOTOR AGITATION - or retardation

Will hypnotherapy help if I am taking antidepressants?
Yes. This combination can prove extremely powerful. Most antidepressants prescribed nowadays are of the SSRI variety.
These stop the serotonin we produce (and makes us feel good) from being re-absorbed into the brain so that this feel good chemical in the brain stays around for longer.
What the pills don't do, is get you doing things that you enjoy - and will start that serotonin production.
Hypnotherapy with Mind Matters is fantastic at getting that momentum going and of course once you are back in the routine of doing those things which make you feel good and produce that serotonin, then soon you won't be needing the SSRI's either.
How long will it take for my depression to lift?
That is a question which can't be answered without knowing a little more about you.
You can see that someone who has been in a deep depression for years may take a little longer to achieve their goals than somoene who has only recent and mild depression.
However, with Mind Matters Hypnotherapy it is normal for those suffering depression to begin to feel better after just one session and much better soon after that.
Book in a consultation to find out how soon you could be back to your old self again.
